Customer Reviews:
Mature female review.......2007-01-19
I loved this film when I first saw it...I was only 10 at the time and I learned all the words to every song back then and remember them now at age 58
The CD is wonderful...good sound, clear and just plain lovely..
Elvis at his best.......2006-06-17
This was Elvis's very favorite movie that he made. From the first song "Crawfish" to the last, this is Elvis at his best. I bought this CD just for the Crawfish song. You wont be dissapointed if you loved the movie.
Dixieland Rock.......2004-06-16
This is a soundtrack of the movie by the same name. And it's good. Some songs have horn arrangements ("Hard Headed Woman", "Trouble", Dixieland Rock", "New Orleans"), "Danny" is a beautiful fifties rock 'n' roll ballad and the title track is fabulous!
He plays something evil and he plays something sweet.......2004-01-29
This is the soundtrack to Elvis' fourth (and arguably best) movie. It features Elvis at the top of his game, singing great songs like "King Creole", "Hard Headed Woman" and "Trouble". This soundtrack was the first time Elvis worked with a horn section. This CD adds seven bonus tracks to the original album. I highly recommend it.
