The Swift.......2007-01-16
Fun, fast, and interesting. Parallel with Relient K but with a British twist.
they rock!!.......2004-04-26
i went to the planetwisdom youth confrence w/my school and the swift performed. they are amazing christian band. i got to talk to the bass player and he seemed very nice and they dont want u to just focus on them performing up there on stage they want top focus on God. the song lyrics are great because you know they mean something its not just about sex, drugs or stuff like that, i highly recommend this cd. its great!
WOW!!!! These guys are awesome!!!!!!.......2004-04-22
I attended a concert in Charlotte and saw these guys perform.
They were absolutely dynamic. They performed with such ease and enthusiasm. The piano player is a born natural. All the band played well. They really rocked the house.
There is no doubt that the message in song and word comes straight from the heart. I bought the CD and cannot get enough of it. As a matter of fact, I was so moved by them, I bought 8 CD's and 8 DVD's for Christmas gifts.
UNBELIEVABLE!.......2004-03-13
I went to a youth conference in January and the Swift were there. I had never heard of them before, but I realized I had heard one of their songs on the radio. They led worship and did a concert- they were awesome!! You can tell that they are really men of God and they don't want you to focus on them, but on God. After the conference I knew I had to get their album.
My favorites on the CD are Wake Up and Almost There. Wow....All the songs are great though!! I never skip any of them...the band is awesome!!! The lyrics are great and once I got the CD I couldn't stop listening to it...I highly recommend this to anyone!!!!!
fabuloso.......2003-10-23
I love this albumn! It is pure gold!
There have been some who feel the need to compare The Swift to this person or that person or whatever (Ben Folds and Keith Green being the two obvious ones). To me that's just a big waste of time when you consider that there isn't anyone in Christian music today with their sound. For those of us who listen primarily (or exclusively) to Christian music, The Swift are a nice change of pace to what is typically being offered.
Buy the albumn, enjoy the albumn, sing along with the albumn, give the albumn to a friend.
It's obvious that the guys in the band don't take themselves too seriously, so maybe all those who would malign the band ought not to either.
