5 out of 5 stars Buy this CD!.......2005-03-25

Saw the Features opening for the Kings of Leon. I went to the KOL concert in Houston not knowing who The Features were. Myself and all my friends were blown away. Every single song they played was great. I picked up both albums at the concert and then downloaded thier exclusive iTunes track and the rarities they have availiable on thier website www.thefeatures.com. I am a music snob and these guys are my new favorite band, they are amazing. Every song they write could be a single.

5 out of 5 stars I'm a New Fan.......2004-05-25

I was first introduced to The Features music a few months ago when I attended a live show at 12th & Porter in Nashville. I was very impressed and the energy they emitted was intense. I went out and bought the EP as soon as it was released. Just as they had demonstrated in their live show the energy was all over the album. From the first song to the last The Features caught my attention with their fast beats and very catchy melodies. It's somewhat of a fresh new sound which made it all the more great and appealing to my ears. I can't wait for their full album release sometime this summer. Check 'em out at thefeatures.com

5 out of 5 stars Great album, great band.......2004-05-11

I saw the Features open for Guster about a month ago. At the time I had no idea who they were. All I can say is that they put on a great live show, and if you get a chance to go to one, you will definitely have fun.

This album is purely addictive. I only wish it had more tracks!

5 out of 5 stars Debut EP from an amazing band! Well worth the price!.......2004-04-20

I first saw this band play my sophomore year of college, when they played a local music weekend of shows; they were great! I have seen them play around 15 times or so since then, and they still rock! The band is very tight (having played together for a few years) and the songwriting is very well done. The song lyrics are both interesting and well thought out, and the music is both inventive and entertaining! I especially like the interesting drumming, which adds something to the mix and the keyboard (he uses both new and vintage keyboards) which creates this old school Beatle-esque rock sound. The Features are a mix of earlier influences like the Beatles, with lots of Brit progressive rock and their own twist thrown in.

The Features are unlike any band I have heard before; they have been together for awhile now, and their popularity has been growing leaps and bounds in England (even though the boys formed the band in Tennessee). They first released a few songs on some compilations, and a few LP's on Murphreesboro-based Spongebath Records.

Well worth the listen! Check out these great songs that will give you a glimpse into how fun and entertaining their live show is. If you ever get a chance to check 'em out, I'd go! In the meantime, check out this great EP, and rock out.
