New member Ronnie Godfrey brought a number of self-penned songs to the sessions, and his fiery piano playing reenergized the band. Overall, Just Us is just that—the sound of a great band kicking back in the studio, doing what they do best.

A very solid release from the classic MTB era. Beginning with Dedicated through Greetings... the songcraft seems to be less "exploratory"- gone are the "jams" and seemingly installed is more radio friendly sounding material.
