Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars HILARIOUS!!.......2007-04-27

Wesley always has me rolling on the floor with the kind of random off-the-wall humorous rants found only in his tunes! It's too bad he had a rough life, though. It just goes to show that you don't have to be well-known to have some of the best talent! Definite must-have! Oh yeah, and props to Johnny Bottom on his Willis-styled biography of the man lol

5 out of 5 stars Truly representative of the new world.......2006-08-24

The 50's had Elvis. The 60's had Dylan. The 70's James Brown, Bob Marley, The Clash and Fela Kuti. The 80's boasted U2 and The Talking Heads, the 90's Nirvana.

As all these bands are representative of a time so is Wesley Willis. I submit it to you ladies and getlemen that we are all retards. All of us from the common man all the way to the white house.

Devo was right all along.

5 out of 5 stars very Creative cat.......2005-12-04

I enjoyed this Brother's approach to Music Making.Rock&Roll Mcdonalds is Classic.I enjoy the Simplicity, but also the challenge in his writing. He was from chicago&I would have dug if he had have gotten a chance to work with R.kelly on a Project because I believe they could have done something truly incredible.I enjoyed the Humor,Entertainment&overall message in his Music. He is a Artist who got what Creativity is all about without trying to be all over the top about it.Props&RIP to His Creativity.

5 out of 5 stars BATMAN THOUGHT HE WAS BAD................2005-09-17

One of my lifes biggest regrets is going to be that I never got to go see Wesley Willis live. I had so many opportunitys too. He played countless times at TT's and The Living Room. I've been there a zillion times HOW COME I MISSED WESLEY WILLIS!?
R.I.P
Fact is that crazy F'in SCHIT-ZZZO sold out every show he played, and with good reason to.

This greatest hits is a fine collection of some of his best acheivements. Timeless classics such as I WHUPPED BATMANS ASS and IM SORRY THAT I GOT FAT are sure to please. ROCK AND ROLL MCDONALDS is another fan favorite. The only complaint I got is that CUT THE MULLET is on volume 2 (theres really a volume two?) OF course theres a volume two, AND A THREE! YAY! WESLEY WILLIS!!!!!!
