Product Description

The latest CD from Cape Cod favorites the Incredible Casuals, represents a couple of milestones for the band: it's their first national release in ten years (since 1995's acclaimed "It Is Balloon"), and it commemorates their 25th summer together. It's also the closest they've ever come to doing a full-on studio album, and sonically, the strong, articulate, punchy sound of "Nature Calls" clearly puts the Casuals in another ballpark. Don't expect polish, though -this one rocks harder than ever, finally delivering on the promise the band has shown in decades of touring and rave reviews from Rolling Stone, People, the Village Voice, and many others. Sweetening the pot is the return of erstwhile guitarist singer Johnny Spampinato, who spent most of the last ten years with the legendary NRBQ. This summer he's back full-time, pulverizing youngsters and oldsters alike with wild guitar and ripping vox. Rounding out the picture are singer/guitarist Aaron Spade, who contributes some of the album's best songwriting (not to mention barking), and founding member Rikki Bates, widely acknowledged as one of the planet's most savage and original drummers. At a time when some folks don't seem to care about music anymore, this could be just the ticket.
