Blown Away.......2007-04-07
I've had Mudvaynes cd LD 50 in my folder for almost five years and ive never listened to it. I purchased this cd before even hearing LD 50. I found out that LD 50 was ruined, so I couldnt listen to it. I got this cd a few days ago and I cant stop listening to it. The cd is almost like Stone Sours first cd. Chad Gray has a excellent voice and im very happy that I bought this cd. Check it out.
Excellent under-rated band, MUDYAYNE.......2007-03-05
I caught these guys at a small club date in Austin,Texas, several months after the release of this CD. I'm pretty jaded, I hear so many good bands in Austin, so I definitely had a wait and see attitude. MAN! This band was VERY good live. I soon went and picked up a copy of this CD and have since become a devotee. I fully recommend to all to get a copy, and then branch out into their other CD's. As a musician and recording artist, I say "Hat's Off" with much flourish and flair.
Take the time to get into this band.
I Still Enjoy This.......2007-01-31
Mudvayne is a band that would always spark my attention. The band may not be "tr00 m3t4l", and they may have radio play, but I seriously don't care. This is the last album by them that tends to have a semi-progressive feel to it, and this is what tends to get me into this album so much. "World So Cold" is definitely my favorite song, but it's a shame that the media had to butcher it so much for radio play. It's a memorable ballad that will stick in your head. "Not Falling" has a definite progressive nature to it, and "Silenced" is an energetic song.
Overall, I recommend this album to anyone who can keep an open mind and actually care about music. It's not as great as "L.D. 50", but it will still ring in your head for years to come, like it has to me.
It is simple.......2006-06-16
All I have to say for persons wanting to check out this album is simply listen to "Perversion of a Truth" from start to finish. If that doesnt blow your mind, I dont know what will. Coming from a guy who listens anywhere from Sade to Outkast to Megadeth
