Customer Reviews:
Damned fun.......2005-07-05
Jim Crow are a bunch of foolz reppin' the ATL. That is what they are, and they don't try to be anything else. The production is stellar, top-notch. PA is tight on "I Know, You Know." Oomp is crunk on "Bandits." Mr. DJ laces "Flaw Boyz" very nicely. Jim Crow is entertaining, funny, and not terrible lyrically. They are surprisingly sound in that category, especially given their musical style (hoes, crunk...). Crow and Jazzy Pha do a great job on the somber "One Of These Days." Buy this CD... Hell, you can get it for like 74 cents here on Amazon.com!
Best Southern Porn Rap Out there.......2005-03-19
Love it,
Does A T L rap get better then this. I don't think so.
gettin dirty with jim crow.......2002-03-16
Jim Crow is claiming dirty south and they prove that they can be one of the best, most exciting and promising rap groups from the south. The CD is loaded with great down south funk. The beats (done by ORGANIZED NOISE) are so tight any club will be crunked up! there are few collabos on the cd like TOO $HORT makes a guest appearance on ''That Drama (Baby's Mama)'' and Juvenile on ''Flaw Boys'', but overall Jim Crow hold it down on their one throughout the cd. The best track on the cd is ''Crow 5''...Mr. Mo, Cartel, and Polow TEAR IT UP! The lyrics are tight and imaginative...I heard they're coming out with something new this year..cant wait for that ish to come out!
it is one of the best CD's out of the South this summer.......1999-11-08
The South is now a force to be reckoned with in hip-hop and Jim Crow has come to stake its claim as one of the hottest groups out of the South. Along with the Youngbloodz and the rest of the Attic Crew they have set Atlanta on fire. If you didn't know you need to buy both albums today and that's on the blow!
Disappointed.......1999-10-07
folks..when I read the reviews and heard that Jim Crow was the next big thing to come out of the south, I bought this album..what I got however, were tracks on par with the latest No LImit or Cash Money release. I am an east coast fan to the very end, but I give every region of hiphop a chance and am sorry to say that these guys just aren't on the same ATl level as Outkast or Goodie Mob. I just hope Music WOrld lets me exchange it..nuff said. Peace
