5 out of 5 stars whack this on, put your beanie on, and sit and chill.......2001-05-18

This album has recycled all but one song from the Lost Pages:EP, so if you have already bought this album, think twice before buying. However, if you are new to the Kreators and are interested in some "clever Hip Hop" then this is right for you. No more of this hardcore gansta rap. While not as genre defining as the Wu-Tang, they are a breath of fresh air that just goes to show you that originality still lives. Look out for "foreign lands", "spotlight", and "who to trust". The rest of the songs are good, but those stand out in particular. I still cant believe these guys havent started selling massive amounts. Also you can try before you buy as 3 tracks are availible in the music download section, so there is minimal risk.

5 out of 5 stars Hot stuff from Boston........2000-11-21

1999's most slept on album.

5 out of 5 stars pure hip hop genious.......1999-12-27

the first time i heard this album it knocked me on my behind with its slick beats and tight rhymes. if you like hip hop in general, get this. it is one of the best albums i have ever heard. 'foreign lands' is especially striking, these guys can spout out rhymes faster than the micromachine guy can talk (well not really, but they are fast - and you can still understand what they are saying). meaningful lyrics + smooth beats = kreators.

5 out of 5 stars This is Boston's best kept secret - but not for long!.......1999-10-29

I have heard the Kreators music around the Boston area for the last couple of years. And everytime I hear it, I wonder why this group is not as large as any other multi platinum artist. The lyrics these guys write are incredible commentary about love (No Ordinary Love), the music industry, overcoming drugs (Chemical), and the art of rap music and their skills (The Ultimate Line). They're not rapping about cars, money and watches like other five and dime rappers. They're talking about the realities of making it in the music industry (Big Plans; Who To Trust), separating the fakes from the real players. The transition from head-banging beats to R&B love stories is as fluid as water from a faucet. This album is not one dimensional, it's multi dimensional. Women will love the sound of Big Juan's Teddy Pendergass style vocals and the piercing lyrics of Jayson. Add that with Xcel's commentary of true life experiences (Chemical) and G2's phat beats and you have an original crew making new, phat, music. If you're not sure about buying it - let your girl listen to No Ordinary Love, then decide. And Ladies, if you want to listen to rap without the gangsta mentality, you found what you've been looking for - jazzy, funky, hardcore, R&B hip hop! Don't take my advice, listen to it for yourself. Then, you can let others know with your own review, whether I was right or wrong. Go ahead, unwrap this scintilating hip hop package. Find out more about Boston's hottest rap group since Gangstarr. You'll find out there's No Contest when it comes to who got skillz.

5 out of 5 stars Clever lyrics, tight beats, expect big things from them........1999-08-11

The Kreators are clever with their rhymes, especially on track 3, "No Ordinary Love". I expect to hear big things from them in the future.
