3 out of 5 stars Too short, too many skits..........2004-02-28

What few songs there are on this cd, are awesome...just not enought to really be worth buying, sad, but true...

3 out of 5 stars Welcome to Average-ville..........2004-01-08

Hmmm... I love the "High & Mighty", and whats more I love "Eastern Conference Records". I guess this is due to the fact that historically everything they have touched has been absolute gold. However, I'm not sure about "Airforce 1".

Don't get me wrong... I don't hate it, but yet I would find it hard to say I love it. Every track on the album left me feeling that any minute something magic was going to happen, but then it never eventuated. The "Dude Where's My Car?" skit left me feeling nothing short of mortified for them. When I listen to "Airforce 1" I have to ask myself "Am I missing something here?" which is never a good sign.

When comparing "Airforce 1" to "Home Field Advantage" it appears track production on the former could have been done by a 13yr old child with a Casio.

Not bad, not great = average.

Final score - An album for "Eastern Conference Recordings" Complete-ists only.

3 out of 5 stars Could've been better.......2002-04-11

This new EP is kind of disappointing... Songs 1, 3, 7 and 10 are tight as hell, but I can't really get into the rest (although I'm a big EC fan).
If you're looking for a good EC record, I suggest getting one of the EC Allstars CDs first (pt. 1 being my favorite)...

4 out of 5 stars Air Force 1 is no.#1.......2002-03-14

The High and Mighty keeps on impressing me with each release. When Cage and them teamed up to form The Smut Peddlers, I had to get it..Good thing I did. Very entertaining with the beats and lyrics. Same thing goes with this release Air Force 1. No disappoining tracks, the guest spot emcees are good too, Havoc, R.A, Copywrite and Cage. The best song on the EP is "Artillery" the beat is HOT!!! Straight up underground jem!!! Anyway, This EP will not disappoint especially if you like these Philly natives...

4 out of 5 stars Air Force 1 cant crash.......2002-02-28

It seems like nothin High N Mighty put out can be garbage. I really enjoyed the Eastern Conference All Stars Pt 2 compilation and when I heard about this I knew it would ill. I only heard bits and pieces of "Home Field Advantage" so seeing this was a 10 track EP kind of disappointed me at first. But its always quality over quantity so I checked it out. The first thing I noticed is that the production is on point as with anythin High N Mighty are associated with. And you know the lyrics are on point. With guest appearances by Copyrwrite, Havoc, Ra the rugged Man, and cAgE, this album is more than worth listening to. The only weak track on this album in my opinion is "Illadel Jack Move." This album deserves 4.5 stars and shows that Air Force 1 cannot crash.
