Customer Reviews:
If you're looking for something special from the South, here it is.......2006-09-15
Z-Ro is hands down the best rapper, lyricist in the state of Texas. Forget Scarface, forget Lil Keke, don't even make me laugh at the mention of Slim Thugg or Lil Flip. Ro's music sends you back to a time when Tupac was dominating the rap game with hardcore, REAL emotion and feelings on his albums. Ro, like so many great artist from all over the country doesn't compromise to go mainstream and in turn has spent most of his career in the shadows. However, I can't think of many other Texas rappers who can put together a collection of greatest hits that is actually great from the FIRST track to the LAST. If you want to hear the REAL SOUTH and are tired of "bling rap" no matter where you're from, this album is for you. Sorry I couldn't put a voting button on the bottom of this. I don't know how to. If this review is helpful to you just buy some of Ro's work, if not....
Right back at ya!.......2005-08-25
Zero is on the same level as Convicted Felons as far as being my favorite rappers. His lyrics are super neat and make me smile like a little girl who just got some cotton candy at the midget circus. What I love about this cd more than all of the others is that he dedicated to his thugs, of which I am one. I am so thug it is hard to believe. I wear a waffle house hat, Vancouver Grizzlie leather coat, Old school michigan fab five shorts and pro wings Cookie Belcher's. I have a minivan that I've modified to roll like a thug. I've got 56" spinners and a satellite radio with nothing but rap stations. I've sent up my own satellites and programmed the stations myself. You know what? I like to play the game clue. I usually play my cat and I've only lost twice. I almost always guess Colonel Mustard with the frozen ham in the bar. A lot of times that will win and the best part about playing your cat is that it doesn't argue with you. Usually my cat, Crunk kitty, is not even around at the end of the game. She gets bored and just goes and poops or chases a twist tie from a loaf of bread. Anyway, thanks zero, for dedicating this cd to thugs like me.
