Customer Reviews:
goodbye BCC, it's been nice.......2003-07-10
This isn't the BCC I Remember. This is some poppy, played out, might as well be fabolous, Jay Z or any other pop rap group out there. With the exception of Smif n Wesson you have 5 rappers who sound exactly the same as one another with mostly lame beats that could have been made for Nsync's crossover rap album. 1 or 2 good tracks, the rest is fluff. The BCC I remember was totally underground, hip hop to the core, rough and rugged with hardcore beats. This ain't it.
They back.......2003-05-23
This is the best comeback of tha year this is a classic anoter good album from Boot Camp Click if you don't got just pick up.
Hot Hot Hot.......2003-04-04
That's all I have to say about this album. I have all their previous albums but this album is a perfect blend of mixes and lyrics. It's really a shame that BCC will never get the recognition that they deserve. It's a rarity that you will get nothing but hot tracks through out the entire album. Now a days artists are comfortable with a 70% output but this album is 100%. If you like their previous tracks you'll definitely like this one. Do your ear's a favor and treat them to this album.
BCC back with a triumphant return!!.......2003-03-13
From the first time I gave this album a spin, I was into it. By the time I was finished and the music was over, my head was still noddin' to the tracks I just heard. Especially the first song "And So", which displays a melodic gituar loop and thundering basline, a great way to begin a comeback album. For those who did no get a chance to hear any of Duckdown's music since For The People, it is like there wasn't even a layoff between albums. All of the MC's rep righteously on the album, especially Buck and Ruck. The beats are mad hot, with the Beatminerz leading the way. Other standouts on the album are the Alchemist produced Let's Get Down to Bizness, Ice Skate, the interestin Daddy Wanna, and the Beatminerz special Had it Up To Here. If you were into Duckdown's music in the 90's, then you will certainly love this joint. Best believe the BCC and Duckdown are here to stay, go get The Chosen Few and continue to support their work.
Welcome to Bucktown, USA.......2002-12-17
The word that describes this album best is "Whoa." Dope beats, great lyricism from all the B. C. C. "The Chosen Few" is one of my favorite albums of 2002. Suggested tracks to check out are: All of 'em. This album is definately not for those that think clowns like Ja Rule or Nelly represent true hip hop. This album is real hip hop for real hip hop headz.
