Short But Sweet.......2006-06-27
3X Krazy's 1995 EP, Sick-O, is a dope under the radar release, with a few surefire classics. The high-speed anthem "Hit The Gas" is a G-Funk smoker with a bangin' beat and a menacing whiny keyboard riff through the song. "Sunshine In The 'O'" is an awesome, laid back G-Funk song perfect for ridin', slippin,' and slidin' down the Cali streets. Then we have "In The Town" a dope gangsta rap track with another smoldering beat. Bart, Agerman, and Keek Tha Sneak have awesome chemistry and all bring phat rhyming skills and unique personalities to the table. If you like this one, you'll surely like 1997's Stackin Chips even more.
A few good tracks....but not enough tracks.......2005-10-06
There is not enough songs on this album. Song #3 is the best song because it has a good beat and it features Seagram and Gangsta P. Song #1 is also good.
Sick-o.......2005-03-29
This one of the best album's i've heard in a long time. Has tight beats and killer lyrics. It's a must Buy CD for any serious rap fan.
Don't sleep on this EP!!!.......1999-01-22
Whether you're a fan of east or west coast hip hop, you should pick up this EP. Don't be fooled by the fact that these cats hail from the west, cuz they do posses lyrical power, and most of all, flows for days. Each MC flows in his own distinct way, with each having a unique voice to match. Especially Keek Tha Sneek, who's rapid fire, word splitting flow sound fresh in a market full of run-of-the-mill MC's. These MC's are definatley in a league of their own and the only comparision I can make is that they sometimes sound similar to The Luniz. The only drawback of this EP is that it tends to rehash the same subject matter that 1 million other west coasts rhymers spit (gunplay, pimpin' and slangin' drugs). While 3Xkrazy still innovates this overused material, I would rather see them take on fresh subjects, from which they could really shine.
