5 out of 5 stars Fire.......2006-02-08

I first got into Mr. Doctor a few years ago when I hear him on Brotha Lynch's cd Season Of Da Siccness. I went and found this cd, and it's probably one of the best cds I have, straight westcoast heat. Pretty much every song on this cd is bangin, Mr. Doctor and Brotha Lynch hook up together in a lot of these songs. So if you like Brotha Lynch or westcoast music, you'll like this cd.

5 out of 5 stars ITS THE REAL DEAL WHEN DOC'S ON THE MIC.......2005-11-14

"Bloccstyle" is yet another underground album that's dope as f*ck but probably won't be recognized as great. It came from California in the mid-90's; the glory days of gangster rap, the influence of which made almost all mainstream poser rap what it is today. Doc's debut is a combination of gangster and horrorcore rap, some of the most explicit lyrics and subject matter ever heard on one cd. This is in large part due to Brotha Lynch Hung (Doc's right hand man on this album), and alongside the G-funk flavored production, "Bloccstyle" is in my opinion a bonafide classic. The G-Funk influence is most notable on Da Real Deal, the best song on this cd. Mr. Doctor teams with Lynch as partners in rhyme on many tracks; the two compliment each other well - Lynch sounds crazier, Doc more laid back in their delivery styles. These guys actaully have talent, keep in mind, they can rap in time to the music rather than just babble on mindlessly and off-key about "The Club." Doc and Lynch's gangster flows over smooth, rolling beats make for an album with nothing but cuts. Best songs: Bloccstyle, Fucc Yo Side, No B*tch, 40 oz. and Chronic Dice, Real Deal. Worst song: Treat Em Like H*ez.

5 out of 5 stars Better than Brotha Lynch!.......2005-10-06

This album has some of the best west coast beats ever made! It is up there with Brotha Lynch's "Season of Da Siccness." I like Mr. Doctor better than Brotha Lynch because he isn't always talking about "nuts and guts and slabs of human meat" like Lynch does. Mr Doctor is more of a gangsta rapper, while Brotha Lynch is a horrorcore rapper.

5 out of 5 stars dnovskillanig.......2005-04-07

i dont giv a shh bout wut ever any1 says, lynch, x-raided, and mr. doc's albums from the mid 90's are the rap albums 2 have (if you're in 2 real rap, not that nelly or fake shh, I can't stress that enuff). I'm digusted w/ these punks that put the triple 6 in the same categorie as these guys though. If you do than put your rap albums on the shelf and go buy your f**kin EAGLES albums punks, cause U don't know shh aiight!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Lynch hit it on this one.......2005-03-27

I'll be honest, when I bought this CD I knew it would be sick. If you think you never heard Doc before and you listen to any Black Market/Siccmade then your wrong cause he's all over it with Lynch, rappin verses here and there. If you like rap from Sacramento you have to have this CD, this one is in the record books with season, no doubt gotta cop it.
