Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars KE'NOE! One of the realest and the hottest in the SOUTH.......2004-09-22

This is one of the HOTTEST album's to come out the south in a long time! The album is STR8 FIRE from begining to end. The beats and lyrics are GANGSTA! A whole different style compared to these copy cat artist. A must have for all REAL PLAYAS, HUSTLAS, and GEEZ holding it down! Ke'noe is slept on! Real heads must add this one to the collection.

5 out of 5 stars Ke'Noe Goes Hard! ! ! ! !.......2002-12-29

Yall have got to go get this album! This CD is THROWD! Ke'Noe is known for his heavy bass hits but he can rhyme too! He raps wit a new different type of flow from the south. Every track had some hard bass pumpin beats! Him & his new crew from his records label set tha album on Fire! He's got C-Murder, Snoop, Too Short & BG on this album. I jus cant wait until Life As A Mack Vol. 2 comes out! Go get it now, you will love it! Tracks 1-16 is bangin!

4 out of 5 stars Ke'noe starts off okay.......2002-10-29

The cd starts off okay. The intro featuring Ziggly Wiggly is nice. Then after the second song the cd starts a fire! The heat continues for the rest of the album. Overlooking song 5 which is totally out of place for this album. Don't get me wrong Ke'noe is not a rapper but his beats are super hot. If you are someone who likes hard beats this is a cd for you. Snoop Dogg, B.G., and Soulja Slim are just a few of the artist on this joint. When you are listening be on the lookout for Ke'noes crew they rip up a couple of tracks also. Overall this album gets my seal of approval.

4 out of 5 stars Ya Heard Me!.......2002-10-24

I heard of this dude back when he was affiliated with No Limit. He's a youngan too and he's been layin' it down for a minute. Ke'noe was the dude that held it down for C-Murder when he started that TRU Records thing with the Deadly Soundz production crew. He's one of the only other producers who would hold my attention after my coveted Beats by the Pound production mob left No Limit. He's also the dude behind the boards on B.G.'s non- Cash Money comeback (if that's what you wanna call it) "Living Legend". He's as talented as the production wizard Mannie Fresh himself and his slick, rowdy brass and bass heavy beats compliment B.G.'s Nawlins drawl. I also hear he puts it down for my man Lil' Flip too so it's no secret to the South that this dude does the damn thing. Life As A Mack is an introduction to his rap roots and I must say young Ke'noe holds his own with his famous rap counterparts with ease. He rides with Snoop on "Gold Diggers" with the ease of a veteran, gets crunk with B.G. on three joints and of course holds it down with C-Murder. Plus he threw in a surprise joint with the freak himself, Too $hort for good measure. Overall this album is a must have. That joint bumps consistently with 'slight' missteps but Ke'noe definitely does the damn thang on this one and his lil' mob the Night Rydas and IW are reminiscent of the Hot Boys on Guerilla Warfare. Go get that ya'll! Ya heard me!
