Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars The only review you need.......2005-12-06

You can skip all these other reviewers cuz they don't know what they're talking about. I own every single Daz CD and this one is my all-time favorite. Sure, you lost the one track with 2pac from the original, smaller version of this CD. Big deal- the 8 new tracks make up for it. This is one of the best gangsta rap CDs that has ever been released, and if you're a Daz fan or even just a rap fan, you have to get this one. Tightest traccs: I Got Love in These Streetz, My System (the remix! way more knoccin than the original), Callin' My Name, Love & Happiness (funny as hell), and Shoot Em Up. This is a classic and I have been listening to every single West Coast/Underground rap CD you can think of for years and years.

3 out of 5 stars "I Got Love In These Streetz" Review.......2004-12-14

There aren't too many independent artists who do it quite like Daz. Ever since escaping from Death Row, Diggy Daz has been pumping out albums on his independent label, DPG Recordz, like nobody's business. For the label's latest move, they have decided to re-release 2002's EP, "I Got Love In These Streets" as a full-length album with tons of bonus tracks. There are a few complaints to be had with the new version of "I Got Love" though. When most labels add to their catalog titles, they put the bonus content at the end of the record. Not the case here though as the new songs are mixed in amongst the original tracklist. Also due to legal reasons, "Only Move For The Money" (an unreleased Daz duet with Tupac) has been removed from this new version. Sadly, none of the new content can really make up for its absence. Most of the new songs feel like "studio scraps" with the exception of "Gangsta Summer" and "I Can't Spend The Night". If you don't already own the original EP, I would recommend picking this one up but I wouldn't go tossing out the original out-of-print version for this one. "I Got Love" works a lot better in its condenced format.

3 out of 5 stars 3.5 star - EP.......2004-12-03

I have the original version from DPG recordz that is a 7 song EP and this is the album I'm reviewing. It has one classic, 2 good songs, 2 ok songs, 2 not so good songs. 4 of the 7 are on the full version of the album (2,4,7 & 8).

#2 - 9 ((good beat - title track)
#3 - 10 (classic f/ 2pac & bad azz - also on the "Makaveli & Dillinger" album)
#4 - 8.5 (f/ Gail Gotti - good Beat)
#5 - 7
#6 - 5
#8 - 7.5 (good beat)
#9 - 5.5 (f/ 5th ward boyz)

3 out of 5 stars Daz u gotta get mo gangsta wit it.......2004-10-29

Daz kinda fell off on dis album. tha album got 3 out of 5. because the production on the album isnt daz'z finest. fo all u dat didnt hear my system remix or pt.2 dont bother given it any hype. the track iz weak. daz needs 2 up his game a little more on albums and less on mixtapes. this album needed some of his mixtape material and could have been a 6 star album. but if u a dat nigga daz fan then u should keep it in the collection. aight peace out fo now. Vinny Mac still ridin high.
