Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Come on people.......2004-12-14

come on people, all of KJs CDs were off the hook, this one just had more silly then serious. TC dropped some awesome stuff along with KJs usual awesomeness! if u wont buy this CD because u think it isnt as good as the others, its only ure loss

5 out of 5 stars wor'D'ship.......2004-11-14

one thing i can say about KJ, he's definetly got some mad skills, and he keeps it real on the GOD front. my favorite album of his is definetly 7th AVE. i mean his other releases were still great, but until this album dropped 7th AVE took it home for me. i think maybe it was the more serious feel for the messages. (not all light hearted). this album still is light hearted throughout, but thats nice. im not puttin it down. the best thing to be said about KJ's flows are that they are always GOD centered, and this album all but proves that. this lifts THE NAME more than any other on every track. its not about them and thats clear. TC and KJ definetly make a great combo and they have proven just that time and time before on previous projects together. TC'leezy' brings the most bangin tracks EVER!! on this side of hip hop or mainstream. I was gonna rate this a very strong '4' for the theme and overall message of the album, but i have to throw down a '5' cuz TC's track mastering skillz take any album to the extreme. if you havent checked out the "BEATMART MIXTAPE" then you must!!! pick this album up! you dont have to be solely in to christian rap to respect talent and gifts like this throwin it up to were respect is due. PEACE!!

5 out of 5 stars Finally someone gave KJ some tight beats.......2004-11-05

I do not want to knock on the previous reviewers because I know that you are probably Christians just like I am and the last thing we need is bickering amongst the people of Christ, but I am confused on what CD you are listening to. I have all of KJ's previous CD's and this is by far the best one he has released. This is the one project were he has the tight beats to go with dope lyrics. KJ always keeps it real even in the midst of adversity. Keep on rockin' brotha Five Two and I will keep on buying.

3 out of 5 stars Not Bad As A Whole.......2004-09-07

This cd isnt bad but it aint awesome either. Its just well....good. Its a good listen. No real standout tracks here. (though the last 2 break the mold, not counting the last song without KJ) The songs are short about 2-3 minutes with the chorus being repeated at the end for another minute. The intermissions were okay but could have been better. The music was pretty good, some songs better than others. I think that this project was probably rushed, maybe by KJ because his Peace Of Mind album was great though i understand these musical styles differ. All in all this cd can not be broken up into parts to like it. If you listen to this cd as one song or as one piece its good. This cds strength? Great groovin music to listen to as you and your girl or friend talk in the car.

4 out of 5 stars Funny but Lacking.......2004-09-07

This CD marks KJ-52's latest group effort, not with his rock band Peace of Mind but with T. Cleazy. This disc delivers humorous, but somewhat bland tracks. The songs all sound nice, with a new funk/R&B twist thanks to the Cleazster, but all share a basic message- Become a Christian, don't give up. Ultimately, this CD isn't bad, but Christians wanting to sample KJ's music should get one of his 3 previous solo rap albums since this disc contains mostly quick cuts and funny interludes. A great buy for any KJ fan, but not much for newcomers to his awsome hip-hop ministry. Buy it if you like KJ's music; otherwise, skip it and buy "Collaborations" or "It's Pronounced Five Two" instead.
