Sinergy between Delta Blues and new electric beats!!.......2001-05-14
I'm a bluesfan, and like good bluesfan i must follow only the true blues,it's roots and influences, correctly??In my point of view, definitely, NO!!!And i must say that in my music studies,i'm trying to get in tune with the new rythms that emerges from the ghettos, the minorities, the marginalizated people, that could really creates new kinds of musics to be hear by all of the new generations.I think that we can change the relations of the people everywhere, with the music, the new rythms out of preconceptually ideas. This "New Beats from the Delta"is something like this. And i really believe in this good ideas. The entire cd is fantastic with all of that old bluesman, with that experienced baggage, mixing, creating, learning and teaching with this new guys of today's electric beats!!Fantastic!!We must honor all of the courage of Fat Possum Records's staff,to promotes and reallizes this fertile experience between blues and electronic beats school!!This is a new modern way to see the universe of music!!The cd is full of great moments,is to dance,dance,dance.....and to think about, think about, think about... For me,fantastic from the beginning to the end!!!!!
