Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars solid album for the iPod.......2006-05-17

Stimulated Vol. 1 is one of these albums that comes out of nowhere. A compilation of great artists coming together. This is some of the best hip hop you'll hear on a compilation. Although some of the tracks are wack like I love it and hometeam. But out of the bad ones, there is often a good track in the bunch. De La Soul's speed limit, Dilated Peoples stimulation, Sadat X's song among others are really good. This is one of those albums that you can just pick all the good songs and filter out the bad ones for an iPod mix. Definetely some of the strongest hip hop tracks I have heard in awhile.

2 out of 5 stars 10 years too late!!!!!!!!!.......2005-05-24

When I 1st saw this album and the artists on it, I had high hopes. It let me down big time. I should have known b/c Dante Ross was on the beat production. Where has this kat been and has he made anything good since like 3rd Bass or Grand Puba? All of the music sounds like it's from that early 90's era. Don't get me wrong. There are some nice ones on here. Speed Limit, Beyond City Limits, and Something for Nothing are my favorites (I may be missing one other good one). The other tracks range from bad to just average. I'm mad because I paid full price for this back in 2001 but I think it's only worth the price others are selling it for used ($1).

4 out of 5 stars Dante's Finest..........2002-01-26

The boy Dante Ross has constantly been doin his thing in the hip hop world 4 on 10 years now. This compilation contains some excellent cuts namely Something For Nothing - Camp Lo, Del Meets The Dummies - Del, & The Great Dot X - Sadat X... The only problem I have with it is I know a lot of kids will B buying this album solely 4 Everlast. Altho I like Everlast I think he sounds kinda tired nowadays. All I can say is give the other artist on this album a chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars NICE!.......2001-11-13

Like the other reviewer wrote, "plain and simple this album is dope". Features Sadat-X, De La Soul, Everlast, B-Real, Camp Lo, Dilated People, Phil Da Agony and a few more come together to make a real HIP-HOP compilation only for the true underground headz. My favorite joint on the CD is "I Luv It!" featuring Young Zee & Rah Digga. Cop this CD quick!

5 out of 5 stars Plain Dope.......2001-10-29

Dante Ross, John Gamble and the rest of the SD50 crew are at it again...plain and simple this album is dope. Mixture of new and old come together on this bad boy. Everlast and B-Real flow on Laugh now better than ever. BUY IT NOW!
