Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Cause he's got it like that..........2003-03-14

If you're not familiar with DJ Magic Mike, get to know him. He's fantastic and original. This and "Bass is the Name of the Game" are my favorite albums of his. "Bass is the Name of the Game" is his tour de force, and "Bass: The Final Frontier" is him merging his DJ skills with a nice southern funkiness.

Highlights of the album are the catchy "Girls Move Their Butts", the great R&B-ish ballad "Why Did You Leave?", and the smooth "Through the Years".

Like Tim said in his review, DJ Magic Mike is well known for being a great showcase of the funk in your trunk. For years the local stereo stores would use his discs to show off their speakers - he's good, he's funky, and he's somebody you should be listening to.
