Album Description
Part hip-hop, part electro, all attitude and style, FannyPack is the biggest thing to bust out of the high schools and shopping malls of Brooklyn since Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. Their first single, a retro club banger and giggle provoking 'Cameltoe', is an old school meets nu school party jam with an infectious body moving beat, sure to have your radio jumpin'. Also includes the hits 'Hey Mami' & 'Things', plus a free Fannypack sticker. 17 tracks. Tommy Boy. 2003.

Great Booty Shaking Dance Music.......2004-11-07
I just stumbled upon this on the internet, and started to listen to it because I had nothing better to do.
WOW! These guys are great. The group consists of one skilled dance producer that makes all the music, and three Brooklyn girls rapping on top of it. This album will definitely keep a party alive and bumping through the night. It will also bring a smile to your face because the music is so great and the singers refuse to take themselves seriously.
Great fun......Thats all...just fun!.......2004-07-29
If you were born in the 80's , you will 'get' this album. THe funny thing is, I am not sure if the singers themselves are old enough to get it at all. Nevertheless, it brings back fond memories of old NY rap and funk. It is a borderline comedy album as well....not intentionally I am sure!
Ridiculous. Awesome........2004-06-10
I rarely delve into the "dance" section of the record store, but Fannypack gave a me good reason to change my ways. With thumping bass, sparce sampling, and screetchy, sophomoric lyrics, this all girl rap trio takes me back to the late 80s when 2 Live Crew and "Push It" era Salt 'N Pepa rocked the airwaves. While songs like Cameltoe ("she had a frontal wedgie -- a cameltoe") are so absurd they seem like Saturday Night Live material, the group's jump rope rapping style is so infectious that the music bears repeated listening. Of the Amazon samples, "Hey Mami" and "Cameltoe" represent the best Fannypack has to offer. If you enjoy those songs and don't find "Do It to It" too frenetic, you'll probably want this album for your next house party.
Dig It.......2004-04-05
Fannypack is a portable carnival on a plastic disc. It doesn't matter if you are ET or Mr. T; everyone can groove to this disc.
