5 out of 5 stars ~~Golden Sunshine~~.......2001-04-01

Beautiful voice, wonderful sound...If this single is any indication of the upcoming cd, we all have a lot to look forward to.

5 out of 5 stars Yeah!.......2001-03-31

I can't get enough of this song. The lyrics are WONDERFUL. The music is bangin'. It's clearly this year's national anthem for women everywhere. Much like Lauryn Hill's 'Ex-factor'. And I can't WAIT until the CD is released. The song is soooooo good. And you can't find the single anywhere. I'm sure that the entire CD will do extremely well. You can't go wrong with Macy Gray backing you. Hey! if you don't already have it~ get her CD too!

5 out of 5 stars Hot song...........2001-03-31

I first saw Sunshine Anderson on the Showtime cable series Soul Food. She performed this song at Groove Theory which is the nightclub on the show. I couldn't really catch the lyrics but it's the overall music and Ms.Anderson's delivery of the song that drew me to it. After this song started getting a heavy rotation of airplay on local radio, I picked up on the lyrics and it amazed me on how much truth is in this song.

I think this song is a declaration for women or men who have been hurt or cheated on by no good partners. These days everybody is singing about cheating or relationship issues and it's getting really tired but Ms.Andersen came about it different because she told a story. Like the other reviewer (deldrick), I feel what sets this song apart from the rest is the live band providing the music versus a drum machine.

Sunshine Anderson's debut album is scheduled to drop on April 17 and I will be purchasing it because of this song and I think she has talent.

5 out of 5 stars Da Bomb.......2001-03-30

I haven't heard the whole CD but from Hearing just that song it is the bomb. It real brings light to young ladies who are hearing the same thing Sunshine is talking about. The beats are nasty and it's a great song top party to in the club. I look forward to viewing the CD!
