I Still Got Nuttin But Love For Heavy.......2005-10-15

Got Me Waiting was the JAM! but the remix is one of the hottest remixes ever. I remember hearing that song on the radio and was like this is so dope. I'm not much of a Heavy D fan but his singles were actually pretty good. He's kind of played out now but at the time everyone use to love ol' Heavy. The person spreading rumors about him being dead is not right, you know Heavy D is not dead. The album as awhole was OK. I would prefer Got Me Waiting and the remix.

Heavy D's alive and well.......2005-04-02

I don't know what the last reviewer is talking about...but Heavy Dum Diddly Dee...is alive and well, there's just less of him now that he's lost all of his Heavy-ness. But that aside, this CD is his best in my opinion...that's why I'm ordering it again, my original copy is played out!!!! By the way, to see the new slimmer version of Heavy D...check out the movie Shades of Soul..Too Much Drama. Heavy D is FINE!

Heavy D....we miss you!.......2004-06-08

Heavy D changed my life. There I said it. I used to be an "overweight lover", you know, "chocolate thunder", anyway, Heavy D changed all that. His music always really spoke to me. It taught me how to be a better person, and a better friend. Heavy D's tragic death effected us all. For me, it gave me the push I needed to start my diet. Since that fateful day, I've lost 250lbs, and I'm as slim as a hot dog wrapped really tight in cellephane. I just wish Heavy himself could've started his diet sooner. Sure, they said that Heavy D's enormous weight had nothing to do with that plane crash, but not a day goes by were I don't ask myself what would've happened if Heavy had just eaten a rice cake everyonce in a while! Would he still be pumping out hit after hit, most definately. Would we have world peace and equality for all, probably. Heavy, I've got nothing but love for you my friend.....

Much Respect!!!.......2002-07-25

This CD is definitely one of my favorites!! You can almost listen to the whole CD straight thru!! With the help of Kid Capri on the title track and Easy Mo Bee on "Black Coffee" you can't go wrong!! There are many guest appearances on here, especially on the first cut "Friends & Respect." "Got Me Waiting" is another track that is pretty good with the Vandross sample. Overall this is a pretty good CD!!
