Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars I care for the vibe..........2000-11-29

What do you expect form an artist?... Great vocal and high technique in singing?...or maybe seriously complicated and phylosophical lyrics?...you decide.. me?...i expect vibe...

it's undeniable that when you listen to this lady's vocal...it seems that the whole album is some kind of joke or something...or maybe some people considere the lyrics are horrible...

well you know what?..at least the tunes and lyrics are straight to the point...(as the album's title "It's all about love)..IT IS all about love..

My music taste includes Jaco pastorius, Brand new Heavies, Jamiroquai, Corduroy, Rachelle ferrell,Amel larrieux, Eric bennet,Stephen Simmonds, TJ Kirk....you name it...I don't waste my time on pointless artists with their clueless album and tasteless songs...now this lady with her quite weak vocal is certainly not one of those pointless artists...she got the vibe (maybe that's the reason she got the record deal)...

This album is nicely done...the best effort from Ms Laila is "Shine On Me"...Fatima's involvement is a great support for this song...while the single "heaven" is not too bad as a start for the album...and also "With You I'm Born Again" is undeniably tasteful!!... Again I have to admit that Ms Laila's vocal is quite unsupportive to take people attention (and I hope she can work it out somehow in the future)...but she is definetely not pointless like those boybands outsides grabbing their popularity....and the most important is that for moi' she got the vibe...
