It was his 70th Birthday, it was his First Tour in this New Millennium and above All, 40 Years Ago the Beloved Ray Charles was Playing on this Legendary Stage of the Olympia, in Paris, his First Concert in Europe. This Night, Ray Charles was Supposed to Play with his Big Band and his "Raelettes", but Due to an Air Traffic Controllers' Strike in Lisbon, the Big Band and the Raelettes were Stuck at the Airport and Did Not Make It. Charles Decided to Perform Anyway and this Magical 'unplugged' Concert was Immortalised on Film. The Result is this Amazing CD and Dvd Package that Will Draw You Into the Fantastic Atmosphere of One of the Most Emotional Performances, at One of the Most Beautiful Venues in the World.
