Hard to find................................2007-02-12

I love the cd, if only there were more hits/familiar tunes. I 've searched everywhere for the title cd and wouldn't you know AMAZON had it? I would rate it an 7 1/2 (1-10/ten being excellent).

Cure for the Lonely Nights.......2006-11-10

This CD was definately a cure for those lonely nights. Chico Debarge will sing straight from his soul into yours. A must have.

Excllent Come Back Disc.......2006-10-09

After spending eleven years in jail, Chico Debarge returned with an excllent disc Long Time No See. The disc has a neo-soul/contermopary R&B feel. Debarge holds his own on the truthful Iggin Me and No Guartnee both of which were huge radio songs back in 97 & 98. Other standout tracks include Ms.Wonderful, Physcial Train,Superman and Trouble Man. Here's hopinh Mr. Debarge returns with another album soon.

NOT THAT GOOD!!.......2006-05-31

I've read that people compare him to d'angelo, I mean the guy has a crooning voice but he doesnt even compare to d'angelo, just another r'n'b singer. His voice is too weak, his songs all run into one another and they sound the same. Why not just buy one of the many other middle of the road rnb albums... or play the same song on repeat it will have the same feel..

This is my favourite album of all time!!!!! from all genres. Chico Debarge is a real artistic talent, he is a great singer, writer, producer and performer. He has lots of integrity and has never compromised it in my opinion.

This album is 100% right through from intro to outro, amazing continuity, My favourite track is "Love Still Good" followed by "Iggin Me", "No Guarantee", "Virgin", "Ms.Wonderful" "Physical Train", "Long Time No See." Man the whole album is tight!!!!!!!!!!!!By the time you reach "Was it good" followed by "Physical Train" your already grooving with your lady and the timing couldn't be better with this deep sensual, sexual skit and song ...... I love every song on this album. I listen to this album atleast once everyday.

There is NO COMPARISON to Chico Debarge! None! None!!!!!!!! Some try and compare with D'Angelo or Maxwell. But its not even close. Chico's lyrical appeal is uncomparable. Chico has his own style, and that is just evident in the lyrics. Chico expresses the tough and soft side of a strong tough man, who has confidence, and loves the woman!!!! and this is why I can relate to this album, because there just isn't anything like it lyrically. Any hard, tough, bold man, should feel this album. There is so much spirit, feeling, emotion and rawness. This album has uptempo, downtempo, sexy, seductive, deep, meaningful songs. The production is solid through the whole album, with "Physical Train" being the rawest beat.

If you don't have this album, your sleeping. GO AND GET IT!
The Game is also an amazing album, and Free is more like this album. Go get all his albums and you will fall in love with them. I have not owned anything I love so much as this Long Time No See cd.
I have all the Chico albums including the earlier ones. Also get the Bobby Debarge (RIP) "It's Not Over" album, OOP look hard.

I have never had the privilege to see him live, but have two tapes with live concerts. Koch, whats up? Chico do your thing with Alove Entertainment and please do a tour and keep putting out your truthfull music and message!
