Actually, It's Just the Tip of the Iceberg of Who Joe Is.......2007-04-26

This second CD of his really helped him boost his career and helped to uplift the spirit of the 1990s. Songs like "All the Things Your Man Won't Do", "No One Else Comes Close", and "The Love Scene" help to bring out his depth in R&B as a singer and performer. Personally, the song "Good Girls" describes how I felt for most of my life, including the period that the album came out, so as a whole, I give it 4 stars, and it's definitely worth the time and money spent.

Contemporary Soul.......2007-03-03

I remember when this CD first came out in '97 and playing it for that special young lady of mine but not fully appreciating it. It came out around the same time my boy Brian McKnight's Anytime dropped. This CD alone established Joe as one of the best contemporary R&B artist of the late '90s going into the new millenium. This is still one of my favorites to set the mood.

First-class urban soul.......2006-12-29

After releasing a horrible first album, JOE was M.I.A. from the R&B scene for a while then he returned with a vengeance on the Don't Be A Menace soundtrack with the still classic slow jam All The Things Your Man Won't Do. The first four songs on the CD which were also the singles are the strongest on the CD. The first two songs All The Things & Love Scene are sweet R&B that still can set the mood. Don't Wanna Be A Player was a mid-tempo slow jam and track 4 is the honest song Good Girls. JOE really came into his own with this CD and it's a whole lot better than his first..

cuz this is the kind of smooth R&B you want to have on. This is, in my opinion, Joe's best album by far. His voice is so melodic that he can complement any type of genre music, be it hip hop, soul, or dance tracks. Although some of the tracks on this album are B-side quality, I recommend buying this album mainly due to the sweet title cut "All That I Am", a song I keep on "repeat" constantly; "No One Else Comes Close" - another ballad that deserves airtime, the mainstream hit "All the Things (Your Man Won't Do)", and the non-hip hop version of "Don't Wanna Be a Player". The radio version with Fat Joe is not on this album.

This is a MUST HAVE for all true R&B fans. I've had this CD since it came out and I still listen to it on a regular basis. Definitely something to have on when relaxing at home, maybe over a candlelit dinner or near a warm fire.
