too hawt!.......2007-04-28

i love these remixes! they are respectful, yet imaginative. especially the take on 'my world is empty without you' by the supremes. this song, as well as others, are songs that i can't figure out how folks danced to them. they're not percussive enough for the 'jerk', not fast enough for the 'pony' and too fast for 'bopping'. but this remix is made for one thing and one thing only--the almost lost 'slow dance'. you could really get lost in someone special to this beautiful new take on a classic! and 'mary jane' and 'signed, sealed, delivered' are made for hard core work on the dance floor, retro style.

I've got nothing bad to say about this wonderful cd of remixes- for I luv anything Motown !! I luv all the remixes and megamixes that have come out in the past few years, because they offer up a fresh twist on the classics. For those of you who are interested in buying this cd or have already bought this cd and want more, here are 2 more great cd's to get: (1.) MOTOWN BLEND (1994)- This cd contains 12 Motown remixes, and is actual the first Motown remixed cd. I got mine off ebay, and it doesn't seem to be available anywhere else. (2.) GRANDMASTER MOTOWN (2002)- This is a wonderful 80 minute megamix of 46 classic Motown songs all mixed perfectly! I use this megamix to exercise to, but it also works great as background music for parties, for it has a nice dance beat to it. I got this one off ebay as well. Take a lil Motown wherever you go!!
