With their apprenticeship served and the eponymous '10cc' out of the way, the band didn't just change up a gear - they upgraded their vehicle. 'Sheet music' remains a masterclass in the composition of popular music classics, and reaffirmed the composers' status as major contributers to the genre. Starting right here, their work would weave itself through the popular music culture for decades.
