This was the last album for which Karen recorded before she died of anorexia at the age of thirty-two. The best songs here are "Now," and "Ordinary Fool," which was originally recorded during the "A Kind Of Hush" album sessions. How it took that long to get on one of their albums is beyond me. This CD is special if for no other reason that the songs here were the last that Karen ever recorded.

Her final tracks are here...Now, Your Enough, At the End of the Song...beautiful. Now is a masterpiece. Karen sings each word, each phrase as if it holds a special meaning to her. It was the last track she ever recorded, making it that much more meaningful to us.

The last recordings. The listener can feel the passion and ache in Karens' vocals as usual...but it's even more wrenching because of what eventually happened. "Now", "Ordinary Fool" & "Two Lives" fall under the category of Karen Classics. A must have for all Carpenters fans.
