The more I listen, the more I love it..........2007-01-15

First time is OK, 2nd time is "very nice", and the 3rd time is "fall in love". This CD really have many beautiful ones. When I say beautiful, it is from "inside", of course they sound great too. More from Lara on order...

She has a beautiful voice, I enjoyed her singing, I think her and katharine mcphee are both wonderful.

Adagio.......2006-06-30

Adagio is wonderful. I heard this in Costa Rica last month. I contacted the resturant the CD was played in and they gave me the name of the Album. Adagio was beautifully performed (both in English and Italian). I keep hearing the song in my head all day. Unfortunately the rest of the CD was fair. Ms. Fabian has a wonderful voice. I did not care for most of the songs. However I will be interested in hearing more of her music.

As a new Lara Fabian fan I recommend this English-speaking C.D.
I also purchased a DVD that is in French. Her voice is beautiful in any language. This CD is very moving, full of emotion. Her voice is powerful, tender with good range. Anyone that likes Linda Eder would most likely like Lara as well.

Lara Fabian's self-titled CD is just awesome. I first heard it while meandering in a music store. Fabian has a strong voice and the song selection highlights that talent along with her vocal range. Despite being fluent in multiple languages, her songs in English show no signs of an accent.
The songs are moving and thoughtful. There seems to be sadness running throughout many of the songs, but all remain beautiful. My favorite was 'A Broken Vow' which is accompanied by a powerful, but not overpowering, wall of sound.
I have no cmplaints about this CD. I just wish she would do more in English.
