Amazing Composer/Arranger.......2006-05-08

After reading some of the other reviews I would like to say that Giovanni's music is not "new age". He was trained classically in the Russian conservatory and has his own style unlike any others. You may feel that some of the songs are new age sounding but when you really listen to the heart and soul of most of his compositions, it is classical in a personalized form. As with many other musicians, he has some great selections and some not so great, this is normal for any cd. And as for the reviewer who heard his cd while in Paris , sorry to inform you but the Leaning Tower is in Italy the last time I was there unless they replaced the Eiffel Tower with it recently. Keep the classless, sarcastic comments for politicians, not great composers. This is really one of Giovanni's finest works and it was his first CD release with Atlantic Records. You will surely enjoy at least 5-7 of the songs on this cd.

Another Outstanding Giovanni CD.......2005-02-28

This is a CD you will be playing over and over. It is one of my favorite CDs of Giovanni's. All pieces were composed by Giovanni and they are filled with warmth and passion, evoking a sense of grandeur and wonder. This CD will touch your senses with the different moods he creates, with pieces such as, "Children of Sarajevo", "Agape", "Soupir", "Destiny", "Victory", "The Lonely Piper" and "Poesie". It is definitely more than a 5 star CD. I can't say enough about this CD. It is a CD which should be in everyone's home and this world would then be a more friendlier place. I highly recommend this to anyone who truly loves beautiful music.

All who like piano and new age music should buy this one.......2002-06-09

This CD is truly beautiful. I can listen to it over and over without ever getting tired of it. I already have two copies of it, or rather I think I have them since I gave them to some friends and they like the music so much that I'm having a very hard time getting them back. Maybe, I'll have to buy another copy.

New Age Music at its best........2001-06-25

New Age music varies from those closer to Jazz, closer to Pop Music and to those closer to Classical music. I myself, like the Nwe Age Music closer to Classical music preferably with full Orchestra and Giovanni gives that with great mellodies and variations.
