There are so many "ambient" environmental recordings out there, but most of them insist on adding various musical instruments in to make the recordings more relaxing. Not this. This is a pure, natural recording. The quality is excellent, with a wide stereo field. Between the raindrops, thunderclaps, frogs, and occasional song sparrow, one can get the full audio experience of a thunderstorm.
For someone like me that finds comfort in a rainstorm, this album is an absolute pleasure.
