I saw JJ Kent in person in Florida and fell in love with his music. His mastery of the native flute creates a magical aura around the CD. My favorite song is Morning Mist. There's just enough instrumentation throughout the CD to make it really interesting, but not so much as to overpower the primary instrument! I joined JJ Kent's email list just so I can get more of JJ's music when it comes out and so I can see him any time he's within driving distance!

I purchased this album from JJ while he was performing at Ted's Montana Grill on West End Ave. in Nashville. This restaurant is famous for it's Buffalo Meat Dinners. JJ performs there on Tues. nights and while I was there with some friends we listened to him play. This man captured my mind and heart with his music. Through the delicate sounds of Water Bird Comes Singing and Water of Life, to the upbeat sound of Come and Get To Know Me and Northern Horse this man takes you on a journey through the sound of his flute. There is not a song on this album that is not rich in it's own content. Thank You Amazon for carrying this album.
