Buy this album, you're ears will thank you........2005-01-30

Michael Petrovich's approach to guitar is refreshing. His playing style is full of energy and emotion. If you like guitar music, you will like this CD.

As a musician, I find that I am very selective to what music I listen to. I have an appreciation for talent, and Michael Petrovich has it. This CD is very enjoyable to listen to - I keep it in my car, and find it very relaxing. You get lost in the melodies of the songs, and it has a very calming effect - even in rush hour traffic. His original songs have great energy to them - no background music here - the leads take a front stage and demand the attention of your ears.

Michael also has done a rendition of Led Zep's "Stairway to Heaven". He did not merely copy and re-record this song for the album. It is obvious that he listened intently to the song, captured it's nuances, and then took it to another level by adding his own flavor to it. The way he incorporated the "solo" at the end, well, it was very impressive.

Two thumbs up - great stuff. Buy it, you'll like it. :o)

I've had the pleasure of seeing Mike perform in Orlando and he is a fine guitarist and a wonderful melodic sense. I am a professional guitarist myself and so I appreciate seeing others who can entertain, enlighten and be highly musical on the instrument. Two Thumbs!

I received this cd as a gift from a friend... and after listening to it for a few times, I guarantee that you won't be able to get these tunes out of your head! It's a cd of soothing instrumental guitar music with a Spanish flavor, and the melodies and arrangements are pleasing to the ear and quite addictive. I believe the material is all original (except for the last track), and it makes wonderful background music while I'm working -- even though I can't help tapping my feet and humming along whenever the catchy uptempo tracks like "Caliente" (#3) and "Siete" (#8) start to play. Compared to what passes as "music" these days, this cd was a pleasant and refreshing surprise. Great job, Mike Petrovich!
