All I can say is... WOW!.......2004-12-04

I have had the honor/pleasure of seeing them perform Live and WOW, what a show. I thought the CD was really great, but to see them "bring it down" on stage, what a show. Kara is so very talented, beyond her years, and Craig will knock your socks off. A very talented duo and even better when you mix them with Sirens and LOL and everyone else. I really recommend this CD, and better yet, come to OHIO for a live show, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Another beautiful piece of work from Craig & Kara Markley! Been listening to their music for a couple of years, and have been able to hear Kara's voice become more beautiful and refined with her age. There's a great combination of traditional and original music on this CD. It has the kind of music that you want to hear as you sit by the glow of the fireplace with the Christmas tree awash in it's colors with the people you love. Words can't begin to describe the beauty of the music and Kara's voice. The instrumentation is amazing, with a rich use of wind instruments, piano, fiddle, light drum & percussion, and acoustic guitars to name just a few. Being a father myself, take note of Christmas Day Is Here. It's an original song that Craig wrote for Kara when she was just a little girl. This song has a fun "Charlie Brown-ish" kid-like feel. A couple of the songs are done in both Latin and Spanish adding to it's "old world" charm. Carol of the Bells is a little stronger in it's instrumentation and reminded me a little of a "Manheim Steamroller Lite". As I mentioned, words can't begin to describe the beauty of this music. This is a must add for your holiday collection!
