Since I bought "True Heart" several months ago I've been blown away by its strength and purity. I believe it's the artist's first release, but if he never cuts another song his legacy is already well established with me.

There are ten cuts here, vocals accompanied by guitar and other beautiful instrumentation. These songs are more than just some pickin' and strummin'. This is poetry from the heart, authentic anthems, hymns to the divine, at once graceful and powerful, sung to a wide and engaging variety of music.

I find myself singing these songs, sometimes even when awakening from deep sleep, so I can say this voice has found a home in me. Sometimes I put it on, then find myself driving out to the beach, or longing to, where there is plenty of room and stillness to let it all in. There is soul here, rhythm and blues, a hint of Indian bhajans, sweet shining melodies and deep stirring rushes of inspiration. For sure it's a man's voice, bold and audacious, then soft, singing out true love. Musically, something for many tastes and from several backgrounds, while always strength and support for one's own being, one's own true heart. It's inspirational.

Buy this man's CD and listen to it. You'll be glad.

If you want to experience having your heart broken open, then this CD is for you. The soothing melodies, truthful lyrics, flawless guitar work and heart-felt vocals round out a tear-inducing album that is best enjoyed with full attention and an open mind. This CD is an expression of a life lived fully, deeply and exquisitely.

This CD is so beautiful! Sam's lyrics speak right to the heart and are filled with so much joy and love. This music is so ALIVE- the guitar playing is incredible.

Definitely worth listening to- over & over again.
