A breathtaking, inspirational Celtic journey!.......1999-10-06

I recently had the extreme good fortune to see William and Alene in person in a very beautiful, intimate setting here in Seattle. They played the music from their recent release "Dowry of Guitars" as well as debuting a few of their new compositions. It gets no finer then these two wonderful musicians! I can't count the times I have listened to their CD. Each time hearing new and exciting phrases, harmonies and beautiful passages. The interplay between William and Alene is such a thing of beauty. Intensely intricate and very, very moving, the passion between the two is a rare experience! Three tracks that stand out in particular are "Raid On Holy Island", "Sleepless Grace", and my personal favorite, "Sweetwater". William and Alenes sense of melody, time and harmony is both impeccable and inspired. This is some of the finest music and musicianship that I have heard in years! You won't be disappointed. Can't wait for their next release!

This is a really good CD. The only problem is every time I listen too it I fall asleep. It makes me really tired. This CD is wonderful!!!

Talented, compassionate and a wonderful album........1999-09-28

The artists are very professional in all ways, in their composition and performances. I have seen them play in person and they are awesome to watch and hear. If you are ever able to see them in person it is a must. They are a husband and wife team that are soul mates in every way possible and it is reflected in the music they write. They both have a passion for music that they are able to share. I will buy any album they produce. A must hear. I play their album every day.
