4 out of 5 stars Not Stefano's Best, But Still Worth The Purchase Price.......2005-06-25

Stefano Musso a/k/a Alio Die here teams up with two Japanese singers who go under the name Jack or Jive. Musso, playing primarily zither, creates languid soundscapes over which the singers coo their vocalize. This is one CD that would have benefited from tighter editing, as it tends to wander towards the end. Those who like "Mei-Jyu" would do well to locate "Incantamento," "Leaves Net," or "Asparas" by Alio Die.

Still, on its own terms, "Mei-Jyu" is an intriguing experiment, if not the polished masterpiece of, say, "Incantamento." Certainly worth the price of a used copy.
