Abida Parveen is easily the greatest spiritual vocalist of Pakistan. Her voice is deeply sensuous and moving. After Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's late overtures to Western Pop Music, Abida Parveen has retained the glory and fervour of the Sufi musical tradition of the sub continent. This is deeply evocative and profound music. She is on the path to superstardom.

Abdil Parveen is one of Pakistan's most talented Sufi artists(after Allan Faqeer--not as publicized). This CD has some of Abida's best-selling songs. Her voice is courageous, upbeat, moving, and spiritual.
