5 out of 5 stars Musical Bliss!.......2004-01-29

Calms the soul!! You can relax, fall asleep or work peacefully! Transports you to another place no matter what you are doing. It is one of the best in my collection. Tai Chi Music do not get much better than this! Enjoy!!!

5 out of 5 stars I brought it to class, teacher now has my copy..........2002-09-03

This album goes hand in hand with Tai Chi training. I am always trying out new music to inspire us during class. This album remains at the forefront of our selections. "Chi of Breath" is a very good way to start out for meditation and centering. Just put your player on repeat disc, track# 8 and begin your Tai Chi class from there. I needed to pick up a second one. My first copy was respectfully handed over to my sifu and he is quite particular about what is played in class. If you have difficulty sticking with your Tai Chi or just want to add variety to your background, "Adagio: Music for Tai Chi" will fit in nicly.

Also, when doing your forms, remember that the word "Adagio" is a musical expression for a slow, meditative, and relaxing moment in Music. Tai Chi is a "slow, meditative, and relaxing moment" in Movement.

5 out of 5 stars Getting to the Place.......2000-02-27

I want to practice my Tai Chi, but do I? No, I procrastinate. That is, until I got this CD. I just put it on while I am doing something else and the ambience overtakes me and I WANT to do it. It's wonderful. I love it!

5 out of 5 stars Enhances my T'ai Chi practice.......1999-05-04

The flowing energy Davison puts forth on this CD sets the musical environment for T'ai Chi movement and really any sort of concentrated movement practice. The music is influenced by Chinese music but is a wonderful combination of these influences with Western melodies and harmonies. I HIGHLY recommend this for T'ai Chi and any type of movement practice!!!

3 out of 5 stars Slow, meditative and relaxing music.......1999-02-14

When selecting a CD for Tai Chi, one might be seeking music to be played along with their Tai Chi practice which has specific movements and motions. That music is more specific and not usually as slow and meditative as this CD. So for practice accompaniment, this may not be the best choice. But, for slow, meditative and relaxing music (their words on the CD insert), this is good.
