5 out of 5 stars An Amazing Performer with a Tremendous Amount of Talent.......1999-11-29

I was fortunate enough, several years ago, to attend a live performance of this extremely moving and talented artist in a small enclosed piazza of San Gimigniano, and rarely have I heard one play with more intense feeling, desire, and virtuosity. It was a truly humbling and inspiring experience, and I fondly remember that very evening every time I listen to this particular CD. Peppino D'Agostino is a very much a citizen of the entire the world in that he touches each and every person who hears his music with a sort of familiarity of feeling uncommon in so much modern music flooding the American Scene. The chord struck within me still resounds happily at the memory to this day. I can only say that anyone who purchases this CD will only be disappointed if they are too short-sighted and/or closed of mind to recognize the absolute beauty of his music. I certainly haven't been.
