Christmas music for people who are tired of Christmas music.......2006-12-02

I've lost track of how many purchases I've made of 'The Christmas Box' CD over the past few years. At least five: myself, brother, sister, two cousins. It's not a matter of forcing my tastes on them, because they all loved it. My favorites are The Widow's Mansion and Diamonds for Stones, but everything is great.
Percy Faith's Music of Christmas from 50+ years ago has always been special to me, for example a thunderous King Wenceslas and the best Silent Night ever. But The Christmas Box is a new treasure with its own wonders.
All year long, I listen mostly to Paul and to Michael Jones, who are 32 years apart but to me share a certain 'touch' on the piano.

I have had this cd for a few years, and lent it out but never got it back. This was for me, the best christmas music I have heard in a long time. A new twist on a few old favorites and original writing....I must go and find a replacement before the holidays. For anyone interested in piano music for the holidays, this one is well worth it! Thank you for letting me express my opinion

I am a pianist who loves playing similar music and wish so much they would publish this CD in a book. His stylings are fantastic and I fell in love with his playing the first time I heard him.

Paul Cardall's "The Christmas Box" - Any Day, Any Season.......2001-07-20

I purchased this CD for my mom, who is a big fan of Richard Paul Evans, author of "The Christmas Box". Recently she loaned the CD to me, and I didn't want to give it back! I loved the combination of the different instruments, particularly the piano, cello, and violin. This CD provides a peaceful background for any occasion, even though it is "Christmas" music. I have enjoyed it thoroughly and will be ordering one for myself, as well as the rest of Paul Cardall's collection. This makes a perfect gift for any music lover!

It's near Christmas and we were listening to The Christmas Box...we've had it for several years. We like it so much that I hopped onto Amazon.com to check for more of Paul Cardall's CDs.
