Hmmm...affirmations with negative words....not for me........2005-03-16

Most likely he means well, but Sri Siva's choice of words was very disappointing to me. He chose negative words to motivate people into the positive realm, and this is like saying to an athlete, "Don't lose! Don't lose!".
For example he chants, "do not wait, do not wait". For this topic of affirmations, I would have chanted the otherside of this coin by saying, "I am pro-active. I take action." and so forth. Maybe this works for some cultures but in American language there are so many other words to choose from that bring visions of positive thought rather than struggling thoughts. Other than that, at least he doesn't over dub the words with loudly playing music.

How does the universe know what to manifest for unless WE TELL IT? We MUST know something SPECIFIC we would like to have and the TIME FRAME IS...? "RIGHT NOW" because "WAITING IS A WASTE OF TIME"!!!
We set our own life agenda by what we think so why not make what we want to happen, happen right NOW instead of later, in a year, in a month?

The Evening Meditation is a sleeping meditation! It has never failed to put me to sleep. I often have trouble settling down to sleep due to worries or restlessness. I play this CD and am asleep before the end of the track. I wake up refreshed even if I have only had time for a few hours rest. I get the benefits of a meditation with no effort at all!

This CD is so effective. Sri Siva teaches that it is very easy to have expectations of your life like those of a Prince/Princess. You can have things Right now! ... not tomorrow, not one hour from now. These affirmations altered my own expectations. I decided to start my own business. Now I have it, and it wasn't hard. It was easy and it is so much fun! It's a good CD.
