Great title for an entwining experience.......2007-02-21

Buy this album.... take it slowly out of the wrapper and appreciate the delicate and bright art of its cover. Take a deep breathe... relax into track 1 and be ready to remain in whatever state you were in for atleast an hour...

Trance out to this beautiful masterpiece of what you can not divide into trance. Or trip hop. This is pure emotion.. vision... and inspiration.

Yummy Yummy Yummy.......2005-03-14

I own all of Govinda's albums, and I can't go for a lengthy amount of time without listening to one. "Split Between Two Worlds" is my favorite song from any of the albums. I love the build up it makes in the begining that gets you ready for the heart thumping "hip-hop", down and dirty middle. And the violins scream out giving it a nice combination of accustic and bass.

Mega relaxing grooves.......2005-02-21

I really really love this album. The music is so smooth, it just puts you in a relaxed mood. Especially try track 8, "Floating on These Tears".

Zone Out.......2004-09-03

My love of this CD was not immediate. I had actually purchased it around when it was first released because I thought the cover was pretty. I will be honest, at the time I was not really drawn in by the music. I think I had been expecting a different type of music, and was disappointed with what I purchased. As a result, the CD sat on my shelf for a few years until a few weeks ago, at which time I happened to spontaneously listen to it. Now, I LOVE this CD. I find that it's perfect for setting a relaxing, meditative environment where you can zone out to the beat and just be for a while. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes a mix of sultry beats and exotic rhythms.

Trancey chill-out but NOT world music.......2003-09-16

After reading the reviews below, I thought I would love this CD. However, I wouldn't classify it as world music at all. It's all dub-n'-bass techno groove with various sampled instruments and voices. Also, I was expecting more influence from India or the middle east, but alas, had to settle for spanish guitar and celtic riffs.

Those considering this album may want to try Mythos, which I find to be much better orchestrated. If you are looking for world trance, try Tabla Beat Science, who combine tabla masters and DJs for a real techno-India sound.
