Setting a tone...........2006-06-01

I don't know how many homes I've walked into, belonging to Christians, and heard prais&worship cds playing, before it finally occured to me that Pagans can have that too. And that's why I bought this cd. I want my home to have a musical vibe that represents my beliefs. This cd does that fabulously.

At no point does it swing from soft & enchanting, to wild & robust, but it is steadily soothing & softly upbeat all the way through. As other reviewers have said, at the start of the cd the first time through, I wasn't sure I was really very fond of the first chant, but by the second and third chant/song I was starting to really like it. I've had it for 24 hours, and I'm listening to it for the third time already. Now to find more such cd's to add to my home collection.

Beautiful, moving, heartfelt music. I conduct women's spirituality circles, we are never without at least one track from this cd.

I enjoy this CD. It has some very good songs. I recommend it for anyone looking for some meditative/spiritual music.

Sacred Music for a Pagan Generation!.......2003-08-19

Goddess Chant is a wonderful CD that was definately inspired by the Great Goddess and her Muses. The music and lyrics are easy to follow and understand and weave a beautiful tapestry of music for the soul.

It took two or three times listening to it for me to formulate an opinion, but after catching myself humming and singing while working or excersizing, and can easy say that I recommend this album.

I agree with the reviewer who said that at first the CD seemed so-so. The magic of this CD is that you can listen to it repeatedly, as you do your appreciation of it will deepen. Though the topic of the lyrics is relatively narrow the renditions and style are not, making this a richly varied CD. Now, if only Amazon.com would allow 6 stars, because Goddess Chant deserves it!
