Customer Reviews:
Relaxing, but with lots of bird sounds..........2006-07-13
This is a very calming and relaxing CD, but I wouldn't recommend playing it at bedtime because the bird sounds can keep you from reaching sleep.
Wonderful relaxation & meditation CD.......2005-05-05
Relax with a flowing stream, this CD creates a perfect mood for meditation and deep relaxation. This is especially recommended for sleeping. Lye down striaght in your bed and you can imagine yourself as light as a leaf, flowing along with the stream. Highly recommend tracks no.1, 5 & 6
Spiritual, too.......2003-11-07
This music is wonderfully relaxing, as other reviewers note, but I'd like to add that there's a spiritual or mystical side to this lovely CD. I first realized this while listening to Stream of Dreams on a quiet, peaceful, and moonlit evening. By the second cut on the CD, "Sheltered Stone," it seemed to me as though the music were arising from the stream itself, as if it were always there, even though we can't hear it in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. Stream of Dreams seems to capture the collective spiritual voice of the chattering stream and singing birds, and invites the listener to take part in its gentle reverence.
Brings peace to your mind..........2003-07-03
I've owned several of Dan Gibson's albums from the Solitude series over the years. Several have passed by but this one has always stayed close to me. It has a soothing effect that only the most sublime new age recordings I've heard can accomplish, with a twist: it has nature sounds in it, so you just need to close your eyes and let go... The stream takes over and peace fills your mind. I love this album: that's for granted. I think if you calm down a bit you will enjoy it too, and if you don't calm down, then the album will help do that! ;)
Relaxing and Peaceful.......2003-01-22
I bought this cd hoping that the music will provide a better atmosphere for yoga, meditation, and relaxation. After hearing the first track, Morning Light, I was into this cd. The music is soothing, calm, and relaxing. The sound of flowing water in the background is an addition to relaxing. This is a great compilation of nature, music, and water. Listening to this after a stressful day will restore your mind and spirit. Stream of Dreams is a fine addition to the Solitudes collection.
