Having been introduced to the howlingly obscene humor of Spit over ten years ago with "You Would if You Loved Me," I was happy to see SOMEONE carried something by them. Some of the cuts have a great driving dance beat, some of them actually have a respectable swing beat. That is about all that is respectable about this album. Don't get me wrong, I liked it and listen to it on occasion. I don't usually by albums with Adult Advisories so I don't know the standards out there. This is truely obscene by any standard. These are not your suggestive MLWTTKK cuts hinting at sex and B&D and S&M, Some of these are down and dirty in your face direct instructions on what they want to do to you. Overall, Spit leaves something lacking taken as a whole, hence the three stars. More humor, less obscenity and I could go higher with the rating. Less beat or less clever imagery and it would go a lot lower. These guys have an avid following and I applaud them for pursuing their passion. I can enjoy it in the car, at home alone, but I'd never get to use the great danceable cuts when I DJ (Unless I was at a frat party or bachelor party, I guess. :-) ) This Best of Album is missing only one cut, "Road Pizza," in my opinion. Buy it if you like crude humor of the crudest kind and explicit degrading sexual cuts.
