This CD offers common sense and nothing more, it was not insightful or particularly helpful. Examples: want to get booked for shows, talk to the people who work in the club. Thanks for the hot tip Neil. Want to be less nervous on stage, memorize your bits. Wow, that is pure comedy gold there.
He tells you how to be one type of comedian. Save your money and do some open mikes.

Neil Leiberman gives the most accurate information about becoming a Stand-Up Comedian that I have ever heard. It seems like all of the other tapes I've heard and books I have read about how to be a stand-up comedian, seem to generalize and not give you specifics. This CD gives you step by step insructions on how to write, rehearse, perform and how to get paid as comedian. I found this CD to be a most valuable tool in helping me to reach my goal of becoming a stand-up. I think that people who would just like to improve their sense of humor would enjoy it too. Funny and informative!
