Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Probably the best spoken word CD out.......2000-01-03

This CD is literaly an open mic night (albeit recorded over 2 years) put to disc...and it rocks. You'll find work from some of the heaviest hitters on the spoken word circuit (even though this CD is a couple of years old), and from some very cool surprises. There is some heavy language on this disc, but if you've been to the average open mic, it's no worse than that. Not a bad introduction to live poetry for the uninitiated.
